The only downside to SSI is that rentals have become so much more expensive in the 11 years since we first came here. Like everywhere, I guess. Wherever you are, I hope you’re seeing/hearing/smelling some signs of SPRING!

I wish they’d give tours – I’d love to see inside. And there’s a young guy living outside on the island this year, carrying all his belongings around in a wheelbarrow. I’m so tempted to strike up a conversation with him – definitely a story there!
